Trauma Informed Care is the open mindedness and compassion that all youth deserve. This course will be presented in two Modules.

  • Module One will focus on an introduction to basic concepts of trauma, the threat activation system and introduce the most basic concept of TIC, that many of the behaviors we deal with are efforts to manage or adapt to the emotional aftermath of traumatic experience/s.
  • Module Two moves into actual practice and some general ideas about how concepts from TIC can actually show up in the things we do with youth every day.
