The Center for Leadership and Development serves as the coordination point for all services located within the Student Center Building. We strive to create a sense community that promotes equity, social justice, self-discovery, student achievement, diversity, and pluralism through the creation and support of student-centered initiatives and activities. Associated Student Body
The Associated Student Body (ASB) is the represents all students on campus and is Associated Student Body is divided into three sectors: the Student Senate, the Club and Events Board (CAEB), and the Joint Budget Committee (JBC).

The Meditation Room is a quiet, private space where students and staff can meditate, reflect, or pray for up to 15 minutes at a time. The space is designed to support an inclusive environment, focused on the wellness of the mind, body, and soul. This space was proposed and driven by students, particularly the leadership of Muslim Student Association (MSA) and Associated Student Body (ASB) working in conjunction with the college administration. To keep the space clean and ensure that everyone has an equal opportunity to reserve the space, the Center for Leadership & Development upholds the following guidelines:
- The space is reserved on a first-come, first-served basis
- Fifteen (15) minute limit per reservation
- Only one (1) person is allowed to use this space at a time unless:
- A group of the same gender comes in and registers together at the same time
- Every member of the group gives verbal consent
- Be respectful of prayer mats, books, decorations, and keep the area clean
- Outside posters or flyers are not to be posted inside the space
- Perfumes, Essential Oils, Incense, or other fragrance products are not allowed
- Students must comply with the Student Standards Of Conduct Guide at all times
- Failure to do so will result in initiation of the Student Disciplinary Procedures and Due Process
- Those who are waiting in line for the space must wait away from the Meditation Room as to not disturb the current reservation
One of the 2 lactation rooms on campus is located in the Student Center by the outdoor restrooms next to the Cafeteria. In this room, mothers may pump or nurse in a private space. To use the space, please visit the Center for Leadership & Development Office to have the room opened for you. Hours of Operation are the same as the CL&D.
The Lactation Room contains the following:
- Private room
- Comfortable chair
- Small couch
- Sink
- Electrical outlet
- Changing table
