ACE Program
The Accelerated College Education (ACE) program was designed to put working adults on the fast track toward a bachelor's degree.
Admissions Office
We provide assistance to complete the college application, verify California residency, register for classes, interpret policies pertaining to enrollment, send and receive college transcripts, maintain student admissions and records, and process petitions to graduate. Find Office Hours and more.
American River Immersive Education and Innovations Lab
Experience new and engaging ways of learning through technologies such as virtual reality (VR) and artificial intelligence (AI).
Beaver Cares
We serve the basic needs of our students, addressing issues ranging from food insecurity to homelessness.
Black Student Success Center

We offer child care programs for student parents, staff, and the community at large.
Counseling and Transfer Services
ARC Counselors are available to support students with academic, career, personal, and crisis counseling necessary to successfully reach their goals. Counselors can help students develop an educational plan of courses towards an Associate's degree, transfer to a four-year institution, or completion of a certificate - even if you are unsure of your educational goal.
Crisis Assessment Support Team (CAST)
We support the health and well-being of our campus community. Students, community members, and faculty can make referrals.
Disability Services and Programs for Students (DSPS)
We promote equal access at ARC, ensuring that students with disabilities can participate fully in campus activities. DSPS is specifically designed to open the doors to educational opportunity for students with disabilities.
Dusty Baker Center
We offer advising, counseling, leadership, supervision, and follow- up intervention to ensure academic success for all student-athletes.
English as a Second Language Center
The ESL (English as a Second Language) Center is designed for ESL students who would like to improve their English skills.
EOP&S, CARE, and NextUp
EOP&S (Extended Opportunity Programs and Services) offers educational support services to eligible students historically excluded and/or underserved, including CARE students (single heads of households receiving CalWORKs cash aid) and NextUp students (current and/or former foster youth).

Honors Program Office
The ARC Honors Program is a community of students and faculty who are dedicated to the pursuit of intellectual nd personal enrichment in a diverse and challenging academic environment.
International Student Program
The International Student Program serves students attending ARC on an F-1 visa.
Learning Resource Center
The LRC provides classrooms, a quiet learning environment, and instructional support services, including tutoring. It's also home to the English as a Second Language Center, LRC computer lab, Reading across the Disciplines (RAD) and Writing Across the Curriculum (WAC), the tech center, and the tutorial center.
Mathematics, Engineering, Science, Achievement (MESA)
Find academic support, industry involvement, a supportive community environment, and enrichment activities related to science, technology, engineering, and math. MESA helps educationally-disadvantaged students become engineers and scientists, and pursue other math-based careers.
Math Learning Center (MLC)
The MLC provides students with a mastery-based, independent study approach to learning math under the guidance of an instructor.
Native American Resource Center
The center is a physical area on the campus that aids Native American and Alaskan Native students and serves as a sanctuary where Native traditions are upheld and celebrated.
Office of Student Conduct
We help students, faculty, and staff understand the college's expectations of student behavior and conduct.
Outreach and Recruitment
Outreach Services strives to make a connection with prospective students; educating them on the programs and services available at American River College and ensuring they have the tools that will aid them in completing the matriculation process.
Placement and Assessment Services
Welcome to Placement and Assessment Services. Placement and Assessment Services provides a variety of testing services.
Pride Center
This space celebrates LGBTQIA+ students, faculty, and staff. We foster an awareness of sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression, and provide a safe and welcoming campus environment for all.
PRISE Learning Community
To overcome disparities in educational opportunities, we assist and mentor Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander students with dedicated ARC courses and learning cohorts.

Prison and Reentry Education Program
The Prison and Reentry Education Program (PREP) proudly supports college students in correctional facilities and upon their return to our community.
Puente Project
Puente integrates rapid learning, intense academic counseling, and community mentorship. The Puente Project enables students from low-income backgrounds to enroll in 4-year colleges and complete degrees.
Reading Across the Disciplines (RAD)
RAD works with students in small group sessions to help them improve their classroom performance. R.A.D. focuses on application of inferential and critical reading strategies and study skills to specific content.
What Is Rising Scholars?
This program is designed to facilitate the transition from the criminal justice system to receiving a college degree or certificate. This program helps end recidivism.
Science Success Center
We offer individualized instruction in reading and study skills geared to support students' efforts in various science classes.
Student Health and Wellness
The Los Rios colleges Student Health & Wellness Centers integrate physical and mental health care into one cohesive team and location allowing us to serve the "whole" student.
Student Support Center
The Student Support Center helps students navigate the community college experience and identify and achieve their academic and career goals.
Student Technology Center

Transfer Center
The Transfer Center helps students learn of the many options available for them to continue their studies at four-year colleges and universities.

We prepare and inspire low-income, first-generation college students to succeed in college.
TRIO Upward Bound and Upward Bound Math & Science
We encourage low-income and potential first-generation college students to complete high school and go on to college.
UndocuScholar Resource Connection
We empower students, employees, and community members who are undocumented, of mixed-status family, or allies, to reach their academic, personal, and professional goals.
UNITE Center
U.N.I.T.E. creates collective spaces in which students, staff, faculty, and administrators share lived realities, stories, and histories as equity education for the campus community.
Umoja Sakhu Learning Community
The Umoja Sakhu Learning Community is open to all students and is specifically designed to increase retention, success rate, graduation and transfer rates of African ancestry students.
Veterans Resource Center Office
We are dedicated to assisting Veteran students and their families with their ARC educational and VA-related needs.
Work Experience and Internship Program
We offer an experiential academic program that allows students to apply what they have learned in the classroom to a work environment while earning college credit.

The WorkAbility III (WAIII) program helps students with disabilities explore career opportunities, connect to internships, and find a job.
WEAVE Confidential Advocate
The WEAVE confidential advocate is available for students and employees who have experienced any form of sexual harassment or violence and want support or information.
Writing Across the Curriculum (WAC)
We serve all students, including those who have little or no experience with college writing, as well as students who are already skilled writers.
