Admissions Office staff are here to help you complete of our free college application, register for classes in the eServices student portal, and offer guidance through the enrollment process. We provide interpretation of policies pertaining to residency, guide you to degree planning tools, help access your student records, and provide verification of your enrollment and GPA. As graduation nears, we will assist you to petition for your associate degree and diploma, offer guidance to meet all degree requirements, help you acquire documentation needed for transfer, and verify the completion of requirements to culminate your academic journey at ARC.

Support with application completion, E-Services password resets, and registration support can be obtained by calling: 916-484-8011, select option 2 – “General Information” for the Call Center. Video tutorials for applications and E-Services processes can be found on our Admissions Office Web site.

Admissions Office
We provide assistance to complete the college application, verify California residency, register for classes, interpret policies pertaining to enrollment, send and receive college transcripts, maintain student admissions and records, and process petitions to graduate. Find Office Hours and more.

Find petitions and forms related to admissions and records. Many petitions and forms are now available as online eForms.
Order Official Transcripts
Current and former students can order official transcripts and check their order status online. Students must submit a separate order for each Los Rios college they attended.
Prerequisite Process Information
Many courses have prerequisite courses that must be completed and passed before enrollment. Prerequisites are listed in the course description in eServices. Be sure you've met the prerequisites for a course before enrolling.
Course Equivalency/Substitution Petition
Course Equivalency/Substitution Petitions will not be processed without a course description or course syllabus from the year you completed the course.
Residency Requirements
Students who are California residents pay in-state tuition of $46 per unit, whereas students who are non-residents pay out-of-state tuition of $395 per unit. Learn how to apply for reclassification of residency.
Submit Transcripts and Test Scores
Submit your transcripts and test scores from other institutions to satisfy prerequisites and if you plan to apply for financial aid, receive veterans educational benefits, or pursue a degree or certificate.
Verifications
Enrollment verification for child care, health insurance, or car insurance can be printed out via eServices or requested by fax or in-person. All other requests can be processed by the National Student Clearinghouse.
