Get To Know Our Campus
Welcome to American River College, home of the mighty Beavers! To get an insider’s view of our vibrant community, the Center for Leadership & Development offers one (1) hour, general tours of our campus that cover our student support services, Student Life, financial aid options, and academic programs. These tours offer a unique experience of what our campus has to offer for your educational goals, whether you are transferring to a 4-year institute, earning your Associate’s degree or a Certificate, or taking a class you find interesting!
Due to campus policy, we do not take tours into classrooms at this time.
Tour Details
Tours start at the Center for Leadership and Development, located at the North entrance of the Student Center building There, you will meet your tour guide, a Student Ambassador. We offer tours for *Middle School students, High School students, and Adults Monday through Thursday from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm. Tours may be individual or joined with other prospective students/families, with a maximum of **30 participants.
*For Middle School tours, we require one (1) adult chaperone present for every ten (10) students.
E.g. 25 middle school students require at least 2 adult chaperones
**For tours with more than 30 people, we reserve Fridays only.
Parking
Parking Tickets can be purchased from designated ticket machine on grounds at a rate of $2 daily. You can park in any designated student parking spot only. We recommend parking in the Myrtle East Parking Lot
