ARIEIL

American River Immersive Education and Innovations Lab (ARIEIL) provides new and engaging ways of learning by allowing students to model, reconstruct, visualize, and communicate knowledge through technologies including virtual reality (VR) and artificial intelligence (AI).

About the Lab

The spectacular virtual reality lab space includes:

  • 16 student bays
  • One instructor bay
  • A library featuring over 50 self-guided experiences

The lab also provides a space for users who want to be introduced to state-of-the-art technology, including an Omni Directional Treadmill, the Infinadeck, and Motion Capture Haptic Gloves. These technologies are up-and-coming and will set the stage for future technological development.

Schedule a Visit

Students are invited to schedule a time to use the lab or drop by to engage in an experience or explore new adventures in learning! A lab tech is always on-site during operating hours to facilitate access, provide tutorials, maintain safety usage policies, and introduce you to the lab equipment.
