For this special event, expect a detailed campus safety presentation with personal protection handouts. These handouts will include a campus safety wallet sized card, a compact pepper spray can and a personal noise alarm. Following the presentation, we have coaches from a UFC gym volunteering to give a self-defense demonstration. The goal of this seminar is to instill confidence in female students, share all of the safety resources already at ARC and build community. This event is specifically for female and female gender aligned students of American River College.
