FKCE Classes and Events

This class will explore the growing trends of substance abuse among teenagers and pre-teens. What are the “entry drugs”? What’s popular? In this series you will gain skills to equip caregivers with how to communicate with youth regarding the usage of drugs, alcohol and prevention. How to recognize signs of drug and alcohol use in teenagers and assist them with getting help or reduce the harm and support them into recovery. Part 2 will address if youth have a substance abuse problem, what are the services available, how to reduce harm, how to encourage them to get help, and support them into recovery. What resources are available for parents and family members who have substance issues.
