Trauma expert Dr Bruce Perry states” The more healthy relationships a child has, the more likely he will be to recover from trauma and thrive. Relationships are the agents of change and the most powerful therapy is human love." The term developmental relationship may be new to you. If it is, the latest research will shed light on why it's important to view relationships with young people through a developmental lens and how this may be different from what you have believed. Training will provide a brief overview of developmental trauma and explore the 5 elements of developmental relationships.
