Join us and enjoy a cup of tea to relax before the finals. Tea is a popular drink among the diversified Asian and Pacific Islander cultures. With various preferences and a wide range of spices and condiments, different cultures have their preferred style(s).
On May 1, the first day of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, we are serving the below tea in the Center for Leadership and Development (inside the Student Center across coffee shop).
- Chai Tea (Originating in India, later spread its popularity in South Asia and the rest of the world)
- Jasmine Tea Bag (Commonly consumed in China during Spring)
- Oolong Tea Bag (Commonly consumed in China and Taiwan)
- Green Tea Bag (Commonly consumed in Japan)
- Citron and Ginger Tea (Commonly consumed in Korea)
- Rice Tea Bag (Enjoyed in Japan, Korea, China and more)
- Tea with condensed and/or evaporated milk (Enjoy in most parts of Southeast Asia and parts of Asia)
Don't miss the chance to mix your Thai Tea. Suggested recipe will be provided.
