Day of Hope event includes:
  • Care Fest resource fair, hosted by Beaver Cares
  • Walk of Hope around campus to honor lives lost and raise awareness (12-12:30pm)
  • Creative activities for healing and expression
All Los Rios Student Health & Wellness Centers are hosting events across each campus to raise awareness about suicide and honor Suicide Prevention Month. Together in hope. Together in prevention.
In honor of Suicide Awareness Month, the Student Health and Wellness Center is partnering with Beaver Cares, UNITE Center, and CLD to host a resource fair (CareFest), campus walk, memorial wall, and interactive activities throughout the month.
With your consent, your photo submission will be posted on the "Why We Walk" memorial wall throughout September. The "Why We Walk" memorial wall will be located in the Student Center between CLD and the UNITE Center.
Photo submissions will close on 9/23.
