Based on the beloved French film, AMÈLIE THE MUSICAL is a whimsical tour through Paris with the unlikely heroine, Amèlie Poulain. Raised by parents who sheltered her into believing that true human connection is impossible, Amèlie finds herself living a lively but introverted life in the City of Light ... until she learns the power of doing small acts of kindness to bring joy to others. As her world slowly opens up, she even discovers her heart is drawn to a mysterious young man. But will he feel the same, let alone notice her? Only a leap of faith will hold the answer—if she has the courage!
With a score full of songs that range from hilarious to thought provoking, vibrant costumes by Gail Russell, and an extraordinary cast, Amélie is one of those rare adaptations that truly honors the quirkiness, humor, magic and beautiful message of the original. Don't miss the ride!
