Feria de Educación: Transfer Corner

Transfer Corner, sponsored by Los Rios Community College District, is designed to help community college students prepare to transfer. Advisors will meet with students to review their transcript(s) and help them plan for their next steps. Student will receive:

• Academic Advising Session
• Major and Career Advising
• CSU Transfer Assistance
• Financial Wellness Education
• "What's Next" Resources for Community College Students

For students already admitted to Sacramento State, Transfer Corner will help them better plan for their transition, learn the requirements for their major and create an academic plan.

In addition to the Transfer Corner, Feria de Educación offers:

• Workshops in Spanish/English - Gain in-depth knowledge of the higher education system. You will learn about the process of applying, the cost of attending, and financial aid options to help pay for college.
• Cash for College Individual Appointments - On the spot one-on-one assistance for high school seniors and community college transfer students to complete the FAFSA or California Dream Act Application.
• Virtual tour of the beautiful Sacramento State campus!
