Event Overview
Celebrate the innovation, skill, and creativity that thrive at ARC! Beavers Build Day puts the spotlight on hands-on art, career education, and apprenticeship programs, with live demonstrations from ARC’s talented faculty and students. Students, staff, alumni, families, and community partners are invited to explore, create, and be inspired by the power of applied learning.

Career Education & Apprenticeship Demos (Time TBD : Location TBD)
- Explore ARC’s Career & Technical Education (CTE) and Apprenticeship programs through interactive showcases and activities.
- Learn how ARC prepares students for in-demand fields like welding, design, automotive, construction, and more.
- Meet instructors and discover pathways that connect education to high-demand careers.
- Hands-on demonstrations and highlights may include experiences from ARC’s new state-of-the-art CTE and MCT facilities.
Blazing Trails, Building Futures – ARC First Gen Spotlight (Time TBD : Location TBD)
- Honoring ARC’s first-generation college students, as well as faculty, staff, and administrators who were the first in their families to pursue higher education.
- Timed in connection with National First-Generation College Celebration Day (Nov. 8), this spotlight highlights the resilience, achievements, and journeys of the ARC community.
- Stories and reflections shared through posters, videos, or interactive displays.
- “Letter to Myself” activity invites participants to reflect on their journey and hopes for the future.
- A welcoming space to connect with others and recognize the impact of being first gen.
College Isn’t Scary (10:00 AM - 12:00 PM : ARC Natomas Center)
- Natomas Center Address: 2421 Del Paso Rd, Sacramento, CA 95835
- A fun, spooktacular-themed resource fair that connects high school students, families, and community members with ARC programs and support services.
- Explore college opportunities, meet ARC staff, and learn about resources that help students succeed.
- Giveaways, raffle prizes, and festive activities make this a spooktacular way to discover why college isn’t scary.
- Costumes are encouraged but not required

Theatre Movement Performance (Time TBD, Location TBD)
- ARC Theatre Movement students present a 5–10 minute performance showcasing creativity, collaboration, and expression through movement.
- A unique opportunity to experience the artistry and talent of ARC’s theatre program in action.
- Open to all students, employees, and community members — stop by and be inspired by this dynamic Homecoming performance.
Art in Action (Time TBD : Location TBD)
- Hands-on creative activities to relax, connect, and contribute to the community vibe.
ARC Mariachi Los Rios Concert (7:30 - 9:30 PM : ARC Theatre)
- The ARC Mariachi Ensemble, "Mariachi Los Rios," present their fall concert
