Caltrans (the California Department of Transportation) is responsible for planning, building, and maintaining the state's highway and transportation systems.
Join Caltrans for an information session about internship opportunities through the Student Assistant Program (paid) and the Volunteer Program.
These programs offer great opportunities for students majoring in engineering, computer science, information technology, mathematics, and related fields to gain real-world experience supporting California's transportation system.
During this session, Caltrans representatives will explain how students can apply for these internships, review eligibility requirements, and share what to expect from the experience.
Students will learn about:
- The paid Student Assistant Program
- The Volunteer Program
- Eligibility requirements and the application process
- How these internships can support professional development and future career opportunities with Caltrans
