About This Classic Tale of Adventure, Piracy, and Plunder
- Treasure Island adapted from Robert Louis Stevenson's novel by Bryony Lavery
- Directed by Pamela Downs
- It's a dark and stormy night. Jim (Jemima) Hawkins, the inn-keeper's granddaughter, opens the door to a terrifying stranger. At the crusty old sailor's feet sits a huge sea-chest, full of secrets. Jim invites him in...and her dangerous voyage begins! Lavery's thrilling adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson's classic story of murder, money, and mutiny features hair-raising battles, raucous humor, and rousing sea shanties to wake the dead! It's the adventure of a lifetime for the brave and the hearty. Don't miss out! (Rated PG. Not recommended for children 8 and under.)
A Treasure Chest of Dishes and the Characters Who Inspired Them
- The Oak Cafe's Rhonda Barsotti and her team will be serving up delights any Pirate would sail the seas for!
- ARC'S Award-winning Culinary Arts Program will be offering a cook-to-order station and buffet style lunch unlike anything you've ever seen and tasted! Using the characters from the play as inspiration, you'll have the opportunity to enjoy any and all of the following:
