Undocu-Knowledge Series: Pitch Your Business!

Have a great business idea but aren't sure how to confidently present it to others? The Undocu-Falcons Center at Folsom Lake College invites you to join Undocu-Startup Workshop 3: Pitch Your Business, an interactive online workshop designed to help aspiring entrepreneurs develop the communication and presentation skills needed to bring their business ideas to life.

A strong business pitch can open doors to new opportunities, attract potential customers, and help others understand the value of your product or service. Whether you've participated in the previous workshops or are joining the series for the first time, this session will help you build the confidence and skills needed to communicate your entrepreneurial vision effectively.

This workshop is the third and final session in the three-part Undocu-Startup Workshop Series, which guides participants through developing a business idea, finding their first customer, and learning how to confidently pitch their business.

You don't need previous public speaking experience or a fully developed business to participate. This workshop is an opportunity to learn, practice, and grow alongside other aspiring entrepreneurs.

Attendees Will

• Learn How to Pitch Your Business: Discover how to structure a compelling business pitch that clearly communicates your idea, its value, and what makes it unique.
• Practice and Receive Feedback: Strengthen your presentation skills through hands-on practice and constructive feedback to help improve your pitch.
• Pitch in Front of Your Peers: Gain confidence by presenting your business idea to fellow participants in a supportive and collaborative learning environment.

Event Series Description

In collaboration with CHIRLA and CSU Sacramento, Los Rios Community College District Undocumented Student Resources will be co-hosting our Undocu-Knowledge Workshop Series. Our goal with this series is to empower our community with information and knowledge about a variety of immigration legal policies and student support services. 

Workshops will be offered virtually and Zoom links will be provided upon registration. Please RSVP to receive the Zoom link for this event series through email.
