8th Annual Los Rios Community College API Scholars Rising Graduation

Students who are transferring and graduating who identify as Asian Pacific Islander and/or Desi American are invited to participate in the Los Rios Community College District 8th Annual API Rising Scholars Graduation at the Harris Center for the Arts at Folsom Lake College.

This meaningful district-wide celebration brings together graduates from Folsom Lake College, Sacramento City College, Cosumnes River College, and American River College to honor academic achievement, resilience, leadership, and the importance of representation across diverse Asian Pacific Islander and Desi American communities. The program will include recognition of graduates, cultural performances that highlight the richness and diversity within our communities, and a lunch reception featuring cultural foods.

This event creates a space where students and their families can see themselves reflected, celebrate shared and unique identities, and uplift collective pride across the Los Rios community.
