Science Success Center

Offers individualized instruction in reading and study skills geared to support students' efforts in various science classes. Instructors meet with students weekly for 30 minutes and discuss different learning strategies and techniques that the students then try in their science courses. How to Join SSC Program

Step 1:

At the start of the term or before class adding deadline date:

• Register for GENSCI 90 (if taking the first time) or GENSCI 91 (if retaking) through e-services. You can register with any professor.

After class adding deadline date has passed:

• Please stop by the SSC or email us
• • To get a permission code and register for the class with admissions office along with class registration-add-drop-request form. OR
  • The permission to enroll you in the class
  • Your availability: couple of days and times for a 30-minute appointment for 8 weeks (same time and day).
  • Your preference for in-person/Zoom meeting.

Step 2:

Create an account with SSC appointment schedular (on the left lower corner of the web page).
