Commencement
American River College holds a commencement ceremony in May of each year, at the end of the spring semester. Students who meet and satisfy the graduation requirements during the prior summer term (August), prior fall semester (December), or during the spring semester may participate in the graduation commencement exercise.
All students who are eligible for an associate degree must petition for graduation.
