Debts Owed to College

Should a student or former student fail to pay a debt owed to the institution, the institution may withhold permission to any combination of the following from any person owing a debt until the debt is paid (Title 5, California Code of Regulations, Sections 42380 and 42381):

• Registration/enrollment
• Use of facilities for which a fee is authorized to be charged
• Receipt of services, materials, food, or merchandise

If a student believes they do not owe all or part of an unpaid obligation, then they should contact the Business Services office.
