Coffee & Treats

• Freshly made and served by the ARC Bakery, in partnership with the UNITE Center & ASB.
• A morning welcome with free refreshments to start the day on a sweet note.
  

I Stand With Immigrants (Hosted by the UNITE Center)

• A campus-wide opportunity to stand in solidarity with immigrant communities.
• Stories, resources, and interactive ways to show support.
  

Belonging Wall

• A large sign displayed on the UNITE Center windows.
• Students, staff, and visitors will receive Bucky-shaped printouts or sticky notes to write what ARC means to them and post on the wall.
  By week’s end, the wall will become a colorful, community-built display of pride and belonging.
  

Office Decorating Contest Launch (Run by Associated Student Body)

• Campus-wide competition with the theme: “70 Years of ARC.”
• Sign-up form/process will be provided by Associated Student Body.
• Criteria and judging will be set by Associated Student Body — creativity, ARC pride, and spirit encouraged.
• Be sure your office is picture-ready!
• Purpose: to have fun, build office community, and spruce up the campus with Homecoming pride.
  

Homecoming Scavenger Hunt Kickoff & Passport Distribution

• Launch of the official Homecoming Week Scavenger Hunt.
• Participants receive a Homecoming Passport to collect stickers at events and activities throughout the week.
• Completed passports can be turned in for prizes and recognition — making every Homecoming event a chance to play and win!
  

Library Archives: Celebrating 70 Years (Tabling Sneak Peek)

• Promotional signage displayed in the Student Center Quad all week directing the campus community to the full exhibit in the Library.
• Special Monday tabling with sample artifacts and information to preview the exhibit.
• Full display opens later in the week in the Library 1st floor.
  

Therapy Dogs

• Meet friendly pups and take a stress-relief break.
  

Art in Action

• Hands-on activities including jewelry making, chalk pop-ups, and air-dry clay.
  

First Gen Celebration

• Engaging keynote to honor first-generation students.
• Stories shared through posters or videos.
• Letter to Myself activity for students to reflect on their journeys.
• Optional giveaways depending on budget.
  

Community Impact

• Launches Homecoming with pride, belonging, and celebration of ARC’s 70-year legacy.
• Creates spaces for reflection, joy, and connection across students, staff, and the wider ARC community.
• Elevates student voices through immigrant stories and first-gen experiences, reinforcing ARC’s commitment to inclusion.
• Builds a living, visible symbol of belonging with the Belonging Wall.
• Introduces the ARC Archives early in the week to connect past and present.
