Overview
Homecoming Week 2025 will bring ARC’s 70-year history to life through a week of school spirit, creativity, sustainability, and community pride. Students, staff, faculty, alumni, and community partners will share in events that honor ARC’s past, celebrate its present, and build traditions for its future — culminating in a spirited football game and Parade of Teams.
Goals
- Celebrate ARC’s 70th Anniversary through inclusive, visible events.
- Build a sense of belonging and pride across the ARC community.
- Engage athletics, academics, arts, horticulture, sustainability, and student life in a unified celebration.
- Strengthen relationships with feeder schools, alumni, and the local community.
- Establish traditions to carry into future homecomings.
All-Week Engagement Highlights
Homecoming Passport & Campus-Wide Scavenger Hunt
- Passports distributed Monday; participants collect stickers at events and activities throughout the week.
- Completed passports = chance to win a grand prize.
- Encourages exploration of campus spaces and daily participation.
Themed Attire
- Daily themes set by ASB to spark spirit and participation.
- Adds a visual, fun, and easy way for everyone to show pride each day.
Alumni Memory Collection Desk (Library)
- Ongoing booth in the Library for alumni to share memories, stories, and memorabilia.
- Part of the 70th Anniversary archival efforts.
Office Décor Contest
- Campus-wide competition: “70 Years of ARC”.
- ASB sets criteria and handles judging.
- Judging and awards happen Friday, but décor is displayed all week.
Photo Opportunities
- Branded photo backdrops and installations in various locations across campus.
- Designed for selfies, group photos, and social sharing to spread ARC spirit.
Library Archives: Celebrating 70 Years
- A curated display of historic photos, yearbooks, and memorabilia on the Library’s 1st floor.
- Promotional signage in the Student Center Quad all week to drive attention.
Sneak-peek tabling on Monday, centerpiece on Thursday (Wellness Walk start), and highlighted again at the Emeritus Luncheon.
Together, these all-week elements ensure Homecoming is visible and accessible every day — with multiple entry points for students, staff, alumni, and the community.
