English as a Second Language (ESL) Assessment – In-Person

In-Person Assessment Information

• Sign up: Submit the confirmation form at the bottom of this page to access the scheduling page. You can sign up for ESL Assessment sessions three weeks in advance. You will receive an email confirmation with information about your session after you schedule your appointment.
• Location: In-person assessments are held in the Learning Resource Center. Plan to arrive 20 to 30 minutes before your scheduled time. If you arrive late, then you will have to reschedule.
• Duration: Allow up to two hours to complete your in-person ESL assessment.
• Proctored by: In-person sessions are led by ESL faculty.
• Accessibility accommodations: If you feel like you have a disability or have a verified disability and need accommodations for English as a Second Language (ESL) assessment, then email the Disability Services and Programs for Students (DSPS) Office at dsps@arc.losrios.edu before you schedule an ESL assessment. If you have an accommodation on file and choose to assess without accommodations, then you may not be given an extra assessment attempt with accommodations within a timely manner.
