Assessment Results

Invalid Attempts and Reassessment

During your assessment test, you are not allowed to get English language help from a dictionary, cell phone, smart device, website, or person. Students who get unauthorized English language help will not receive placement results and will have to wait 30 calendar days to reassess.

A student may complete the ESL Assessment process at American River College one additional time, after a 30-calendar-day waiting period from their first assessment.
