Los Rios Productions Club

This Club is Available to All Los Rios Students

Our club offers a community for creatives to connect and share our passion for film. We meet on a weekly basis and alternate between in-person and online meetings. Our in-person meetings involve group discussions and activities. Our online meetings are geared toward progressing personal, film-related projects. Whether you need help with developing a concept, writing a script,  location scouting, sourcing cast and crew, or finding ways to create your ideal shot on a student budget, these meetings are for you! 

Starting Spring of 2025, our club will be hosting Los Rios Production’s Short Film Festival, where any clubs or students within the district will have the chance to get their work shared with the public on the big screen. This festival is a wonderful opportunity for beginner, intermediate, and experienced writers and filmmakers to network and share their experiences at no cost. Ticket sales and festival funding go toward acquiring equipment for students within the district to use for their filmmaking projects.

Club Rules

• Confidentiality - We keep all works shared within the group confidential. We do not share electronic files with people outside of the group and we do not discuss each other's projects with other people.
• Respect - We speak to each other with kindness and empathy.
• Psychological safety - This is a safe environment. Please share your ideas, questions, and concerns freely.
• Preparedness - If you are working on anything you would like to share with the group, please let us know in advance so we can set aside any necessary time to review the work before we meet and discuss.

If there are any problems within the group, please feel free to reach out to the club president and I will do my best to help resolve any issues.
