American River College's Associated Student Body (ASB) is the officially recognized student group that represents all students on campus. The ASB is divided into three sectors: Student Senate, Club and Events Board (CAEB), and Joint Budget Committee (JBC).
The ASB ensures that student voices are represented at the decision-making bodies of the college and district by investigating, writing, and passing legislation that addresses the needs and concerns of students. The ASB also promotes educational and retention activities on campus that stimulate the intellectual and social life of our students.
Student Senate
The student senate represents the student population at large. Representatives must be a member of at least one committee: governance, activities, finance, public relations, or legislative affairs.
