You Don't Have to Face Housing Challenges Alone

If you're worried about where you'll sleep tonight, struggling to pay rent, couch surfing, living in your car, or simply unsure where to turn—we're here to help.
The Beaver Homes team understands that housing challenges can happen to anyone. Our goal is to help you stay enrolled, stay safe, and find the resources you need.

• Housing Case Management
  • Meet one-on-one with a housing specialist who can help create a plan. Working together with a Housing Case Manager helps us identify the resources that best fit your situation. Every student’s needs are different. We offer wrap-around, holistic case management to assess your individual needs and develop a success plan with you.
• Emergency Hotel Assistance
  • Temporary transitional hotel vouchers may be available for students experiencing an immediate housing crisis.
• Community Referrals
  • Connections to housing programs, rental resources, and partner agencies throughout Sacramento.
• Ongoing Support
  • Budgeting, resource navigation, and continued check-ins while you work toward stable housing.

"What happens next?" 

Step 1 - Complete the Housing Resources Request Form.
Step 2 - We'll review your request.
Step 3 - Within two business days you'll receive an email from your assigned Housing Case Manager.
Step 4 - Meet with your case manager to discuss available resources and develop a housing plan.
Step 5 -  We'll continue working with you throughout the process.

Eligibility criteria could include (but are not limited to):

• Being currently enrolled as a student
• Demonstrating financial need
• Having a Comprehensive Education Plan on file
• Facing housing instability (such as being unhoused, at risk of losing housing, or living in unsafe/unstable conditions)
• Being willing and available to engage in case management, budgeting, and follow-up meetings

Everything you share is confidential.

Housing instability can feel overwhelming, but you don't have to navigate it alone. Our team is here to listen, help you understand your options, and connect you with resources that may be available.

Taking the first step can make all the difference. Whether you're experiencing a housing emergency today or you're worried about what might happen next month, we encourage you to reach out. Even if we can't solve every challenge immediately, we'll work with you to explore available options and connect you with additional support.
