Beaver Cares Basic Needs Center is dedicated to supporting students who are facing food and/or housing insecurity and those who are low-income and in need of additional resources to achieve academic success. Our mission is to ensure that all students have access to the essential needs that will help them thrive during their college journey. In the Spring semester, we remain committed to providing critical services, but due to current staff shortages, we are seeking dedicated volunteers to assist with our growing demands.

Volunteering at Beaver Cares offers a meaningful opportunity to make a direct impact on the lives of fellow students who are struggling with basic needs. Volunteers play an essential role in helping us distribute food, provide housing assistance, and offer academic support to those who need it most. Your time and efforts can help alleviate the challenges many students face, allowing them to focus on their education without the worry of where their next meal will come from or whether they will have a safe place to live.

As we work to meet the needs of a diverse student body, the support of our volunteers is more crucial than ever. Your contributions not only provide immediate relief to students in need but also foster a sense of community and solidarity on campus. Whether you can help once a week or on special projects, we are grateful for any time you can dedicate to Beaver Cares.
