This club allows American River College students to engage with modern scientific questions on a deeper level. Developing knowledge and expertise in fields such as molecular biology, physiology, pathology, and chemistry. By advancing our understanding of disease processes and exploring solutions to health challenges, this institute would contribute to both the academic growth of students and the broader scientific community. Through participation in research projects, students work with investigators to learn about the scientific method by assisting in the development of hypotheses, conducting the method, and analyzing data to help draw conclusions for studies. Beyond scientific knowledge, this program also builds professional and peer relationships that support student plans to go into fields such as medicine, research, and sciences. The biomedical research club lifts students’ educational experience and also empowers them with the tools and connections needed to succeed in scientific and healthcare roles.
