ELLIS (English Language Learner & Immigrant Support)
The purpose of ELLIS Club is to support English Language Learners and immigrants on their path to academic and personal growth. With inclusion and opportunity as core values, the club is a bridge between the college and the diverse community it serves. Our goal is to help newcomers understand and navigate the cultural expectations of being a college student and community member in the United States. To that end, we welcome students and help them engage in activities that promote English fluency and connection to different social networks.
Meeting time/dates: 12:00 PM on the first and third Friday of each month.
Location: STEM Building, third floor near the elevators.
Note: Weather permitting, we often go for walks around campus, so wear comfortable walking shoes!
