Mock Trial Club

The Mock Trial Club at American River College provides students with hands-on experience in courtroom procedures while building skills in debate, public speaking, and critical thinking. Through weekly practices, guest speakers, and competitions, members gain confidence and teamwork experience in a supportive environment. The club also connects students with legal professionals and offers opportunities to showcase their growth each semester. The Mock Trial Club at American River College helps students build confidence in public speaking, debate, and teamwork while learning how the courtroom works. We meet to practice real trial procedures, prepare for competitions, and support each other in developing strong communication and critical thinking skills.

The Mock Trial Club plans to hold weekly practice sessions, host workshops on trial skills, and invite guest speakers from the legal field. Members will prepare for intercollegiate competitions, collaborate with other student organizations, and engage in community outreach activities. The club also aims to host showcase trials each semester to highlight members’ growth and accomplishments.
