ARC Library Research Tutorials in Canvas
The ARC Library Research Tutorials is a free, self-paced Canvas course created by Los Rios librarians. It walks you through key steps in the academic research process, helps you build skills to support your work in college classes, and introduces OneSearch, the Library’s main research tool for accessing eBooks, articles, videos, and books across the Los Rios Libraries.

- Citing Sources and Avoiding Plagiarism
How It Works
- Each module takes about 30 minutes to complete.
- You can complete one, a few, or all six modules.
- After viewing each page and passing a module quiz with a score of 75% or higher, you'll unlock a Certificate of Completion (downloadable as a JPG) .
- Module certificates can be submitted for other course assignments, printed, or emailed, depending on your instructor’s requirements.
Get Started
- Self-enroll in ARC Library Research Tutorials in Canvas (URL: library.losrios.edu/arc/tutorials).
- Log in with your Los Rios credentials.
- Click Enroll in Course to begin.
