Failure to follow these standards or comply with requests by library staff may result in removal from the library.

Noise
The ARC Library accommodates a variety of educational activities, including instruction, group work, and quiet study, so noise levels will necessarily vary.
- Library Building: Throughout the building, please keep noise levels low, be respectful of those nearby and use headphones when listening to a device.
- Quiet Study Third Floor: The third floor is designated as quiet study; please keep conversation to a minimum except inside group study rooms. Keep music on earphones at a level that others cannot hear.

The Library Building
- If you move furniture, please put it back.
- Do not damage library materials or furnishings.
- Immediately report any spillage or accidents to a service desk on the first floor.

Unattended Items
Please do not leave your valuable items unattended in the library. Unattended items may be held at the Circulation Desk for a limited time and then turned in to the Center for Leadership & Development unless it is a high value or sensitive item which will be taken directly to ARC Campus Police office. Unattended food or drink may be discarded.

Respect other Library Users
Help create a positive and inclusive atmosphere in the library. Those who create disturbances of any kind may be restricted in library use, or referred for disciplinary actions. -
Children
Children under 16 must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times and must follow the same rules as other library users.
