This page provides information about computers, printing, scanning, WiFi, and technology available for checkout in the ARC Library. Some technology assistance is also available in the Library.
Though some services, such as PaperCut and WiFi, are available across campus, the information on this page is specific to services and equipment available through the Library.
Computer Use
The ARC Library provides access to a computer lab for student use.
To log in:
- You must be currently enrolled in at least one ARC class*
- Use your Student ID (W#) and Los Rios password
*Due to a limitation with our virtual desktop system, students who are not enrolled in at least one ARC course cannot log in to library computers. Students enrolled at another Los Rios college but not ARC can use the LRC Computer Lab.
Chromebook and Calculator Checkout
The Library loans Chromebooks, TI-84 Plus Graphing Calculators, and TI-30XIIS Scientific Calculators to students.

Printing
Printing is available in the ARC Library for currently enrolled Los Rios students using PaperCut, the Los Rios printing system.
Printing costs:
- Black and white: $0.10 per page
- Color: $0.55 per page
You can print from a library computer or from your personal device. Library printers are located across from the Circulation Desk.

Scanning
The ARC Library has a flatbed scanner and a document scanner available for self-service use. To use a scanner, log in with your Student ID (W#) and Los Rios password.
Scanning is free. ARC Library staff do not provide scanning services for faculty, staff, or students.
Wifi
WiFi is available in the ARC Library for Los Rios students and employees. Public WiFi is not available.
