Assistive Technology
Assistive technology is a generic term that includes a variety of products, devices, and software applications used by individuals with disabilities to participate and interact with the world around them.
Assistive Technology Center (ATC)
The ATC Lab, uses alternative software and hardware to meet the needs of students with various disabilities. Computer programs and equipment help students with class work, improve their learning skills, and prepare for tests. The ATC Lab is located within DSPS and is intended for academic use only. We offer open lab hours as well as time set aside for trainings and workshops.
The ATC Lab is available on a first-come, first-served basis and hours are subject
to change weekly.
