Current EOP&S Participants
Communication is Key in Successful Participation
All current EOPS/CARE participants are encouraged to maintain communication with the program to ensure successful participation. Participants are advised to check their Los Rios Gmail regularly during each term for communications from the program.
Participants with program questions or needing to make requests are advised to send an email to the program at: myeops@arc.losrios.edu or call the program office at: (916) 484-8128.
- Please include your full name, Student ID number, and phone number with your email requests or questions.
Key Program Reminders for Successful Participation
- Review the program's information in the MyEOPS Canvas shell, including the following posted documents:
- Important Dates and Reminders
- Making the Most of Your Counseling Contact Sessions
- Understanding Your EOPS/CARE Program Grants & Related Financial Aid
- Please call the program at (916) 484-8128 to schedule your counseling appointments or stop by the program office inside the Welcome and Support Center.
- Note: Three counseling contacts are required each term. Please start scheduling your appointments early.
- Note: Rescheduling appointments after a "No Show" or for any other reason is the responsibility of student participants to maintain program eligibility.
- Need access to your Student Ed Plan?
- Log in to eServices (see this video for help logging in to eServices), select the Academic Records tab, and then select Student Ed Plan in the menu.
- Planning to transfer to another EOPS Program in Los Rios?
- Email the ARC EOPS/CARE Program at myeops@arc.losrios.edu to request a transfer form and let us know which college you intend to transfer to.
- Please note that completing a transfer form verifies your participation in the EOPS Program at ARC and does not guarantee acceptance to the EOPS Program at another college. You will need to work with that college's EOPS Program to discuss their application and acceptance process for participation in their EOPS program.
- Email the ARC EOPS/CARE Program at myeops@arc.losrios.edu to request a transfer form and let us know which college you intend to transfer to.
- Need a letter of recommendation from your EOPS Counselor?
- If you need a letter of recommendation to apply for scholarships, to transfer, or for other reasons, and would like a letter from your EOPS counselor, please consider that writing letters takes time. Please give your counselor as much advance notice as possible (at least one to two weeks or more) to book time in their schedules to prepare your letter.
- Please call the program office at (916) 484-8128 to book time for your counselor to complete your letter. (Note: this is not an appointment for you to attend. You are just booking time in your counselor's schedule for your letter.)
- Follow up with an email to your counselor to include necessary information to complete the letter (like the purpose of the letter, the address where it will be sent, the deadline to submit, and any other needed information).
